Instrument Graded Exam Training Workshop
A Series of Workshop for training Scale, Sight-reading and Aural Test for piano, violin and cello suitable for grade 1-8, Masterclasses and run-through of the exam pieces with comments.
For those who are preparing for the graded exam but limited time for working on Scale, Sight-reading and Aural test in their private lessons (as usually their lessons just focus on the exam pieces). These workshops provide materials and resources to help students understand how to practice themselves for the exam. In addition, it helps them to pursue higher marks, with better preparation to avoid stage fright or being too nervous during the exam.
Scale Training Workshop
Effective methods and finger chart provided for specific graded scale. Memorization of all scales with accurate finger position in group practice. Mock scale exam will be provided for prepared students.
For more effective learning, students are required to prepare, at least know what scale they have to play and watch the scale demo provided first before attending the workshop.
Sight-reading Training Workshop
Analyze with strategy and reminder on specific graded sight-reading. Technique and skills of reading music score learnt, with demo by teacher. Students will learn how to prepare this part themselves.
Aural Training Workshop
Analysis and practical training on specific graded Aural Training to achieve higher marks.
